What if she hates me?

What is she hates Katie & Colin?

What if Katie & Colin hate her?

My stomach is a wreck.... I am in total panic mode.

She won't hate you! She probably will be a little reserved and maybe a little scared but you are her mama and your love for her will shine and she'll adjust and love you too. I'm so excited for you!

Erin,

She'll love it and she'll love Colin and Katie. It may take some time to get adjusted but she'll get used to the whole family. It will help that she has been with Mike for awhile now and seems to be adjusting to him quite well. I know it will be tough but you need to make sure to get some rest today -- you want to be ready for the excitement of tomorrow! We'll all be thinking of you and the family!

You are her mama forever and she will love you. She'll probably get used to Colin and Katie quickly as she's used to other kids. Colin and Katie might have a bit of a time adjusting but all siblings do. You are giving them a wonderful gift of a little sister.

All that said - I'd be a wreck too! LOL

I totally agree with what your friends have said Erin - don't worry and don't despair if she cries when you try to hold her. Remember, she's been with Mick for 2 wks now and that's who she knows. DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONALLY if she refuses to go with you at first- give her time and I bet in about 10 mins she'll be yours FOREVER!!!
